Lift the picture from the wall and the niche becomes a projection surface with a screen diagonal of 67.8 inches. A control desk in the opposite corner of the room brings the audio and video signals together.

The lighting-control components are housed in a small distribution board, keeping the installation organised. A battery-free Eltako remote controls the system, so its batteries never need replacing.
The companion videos introduce the distribution board in German and English.

The library was followed by another project journal: a customised IKEA kitchen in a classic style. Its separate website covers the planning, construction and finished interior.
